The Pennsylvania Buy Fresh Buy Local program promotes community support of local and regional food and farm products such as fruits and vegetables, eggs, milk, meats, wine, honey, textiles and more. This “Local Food Guide” gives residents of the seven counties served by Buy Fresh Buy Local of South Central PA a resource to find local farmers’ markets, farm stands and shops in their area.

The client requested a rustic cover illustration showing a sampling of the products available through their farmer members. The palette was carried through the booklet’s information and listing sections. The listing section features contact information, hours, product information and whether the business is a member of BFBL. To accomplish this, an Excel template was created that made compilation of data easier for the client and ensured accuracy when it flowed into the graphic design software.
