The “Hot List” feature in Central PA Magazine is one of the most popular issues of the regional magazine each year. Area residents vote for the top businesses in categories such as food, entertainment and housing. In the past, the magazine had used photographs from one of the winning businesses, but this often didn’t speak to the overall theme. For this cover, a custom coffee cup wrap featuring the Hot List logo was designed and sent to a local screenprinter. The wrap was then photographed and incorporated into the cover design. This gave the issue an up-to-date and theme-specific look that better promoted the magazine on the newsstand.
